Top police officials have reviewed the security arrangements as part of the India-South Africa T20 match to be held at Karyavattom Greenfield Stadium on 28th of this month. A team consisting of Thiruvananthapuram City Police Commissioner Spurjankumar, Deputy Commissioner Ajith Kumar, Special Branch ACP Satish Kumar, Control Room ACP Prathapan, City Cyber Wing ACP Hari.CS and Kazhakoottam SHO Praveen.JS conducted a preliminary assessment of the security arrangements. Kerala Cricket Association President Sajan.K.Varghese, Secretary Adv: Sreejith V Nair, BCCI Joint Secretary Jayesh George, T20 General Convener Vinod.S.Kumar and Venue Director Karthik Verma were also present with the police team.

KCA officials said that a preliminary inspection of the security arrangements has been carried out, and once the arrangements are completed, a further inspection will be carried out to ensure flawless security. KCA officials stated that the field of play and floodlight system for the match have been prepared. This will be the first international match to be played at the stadium after COVID. Preparations are in the final stages and all preparations will be completed before the match.
