Dear All, The Media Accreditation process for the ODI, T20 Intl and Test series between India and the West Indies, to be played in October-November 2014, has begun.
Media persons can apply for either VENUE-SPECIFIC ACCREDITATION or CENTRAL ACCREDITATION (online).
I. VENUE-SPECIFIC ACCREDITATION:
Indian media persons who will be covering select matches, from among the nine (five ODIs, one T20 Intl and three Tests) should apply for venue-specific accreditation.
For instance, Indian media persons who are planning to cover ONLY the Kochi ODI, and two or three other matches, should apply for Venue-Specific Accreditation to the concerned host associations.
Media persons wishing to apply for Venue-Specific accreditation are requested to take note of the three documents that are attached to this mail:

  1. 1. The Venue-Specific Media Accreditation form.
  2. 2. The BCCI’s Media Accreditation Guidelines and News Access Guidelines for the 2014-15 season.
  3. 3. Addresses and contact details of the host associations and media managers.

Applicants should fill up the attached venue-specific form, and send it to the Media Manager of the concerned association (Kerala CA / DDCA / Andhra CA / HPCA / CAB / OCA / Hyderabad CA / KSCA / Gujarat CA) before the deadline for each venue, as mentioned in the form.
The applicants should send the following, along with their respective forms:

  • 1. Two color passport-sized photographs with the applicant’s name clearly printed on the back of each photograph.
  • 2. A letter of endorsement/authorization from the Editor/Sports Editor of the Publication / Group that the applicant represents
  • 3. A copy of the applicant’s photo-ID (PAN card / Aadhaar card / Driving Licence / Passport).

Applicants will have to sign a copy of the BCCI’s Media Accreditation Guidelines and News Access Guidelines, to indicate their acceptance of the same.

II. CENTRAL ACCREDITATION (online) – This is meant for the following:
  • 1. Indian PRINT media journalists who will be covering ALL NINE international matches.
  • 2. Media persons (Print and Electronic) from the West Indies, regardless of the number of matches they are covering.

The deadline for submission of the Central Accreditation applications is 6:00 pm (IST) on Monday, 29 September 2014.

November 15 – 19 3rd Test Ahmedabad
